How does one Contribute?

The challenge I place is this..."How does a person agree and disagree, yet be honest at the same time?" I read online points of view and post my own views. I don't try to make inflammatory posts so normally I would think my comments are middle of the road, yet since October, hardly anyone has ever replied to ANY post I have made. In fact, I think if I took the time I could count how many direct replies there have been to my posts. Some of my posts of course have not been worth replying to, yet I still have had more replies to less worthy comments by posters prior to last summer......so I ask WTF?In my opinion, it's a fun place as is. It could be a fine place of discussion. To ignor 100% of any poster is to ignor some of the finest slivers of the best debates; as all comments are worthy.Enjoy

What's a guy to do?

So I'm spending my time surfing and reading and after coming across a recent post in another BLOG I am reminded of a conversation on the way back from Halifax this weekend. Normally I enjoy getting a wise crack comment in just to stir things up. A few examples would be:
- If a gal walks up to me and asks me if she looks fat in this, I say yes and
stand there ginning;
- If a gal tells me she thinks her hair is a mess, I will agree with her; or
- If a gal let me know she feels old, I will admit she is older than me.

I guess I'm confused. What's a guy to do? If he's too honest, ya get hit, smacked or have to be ready to duck *quack* If I don't get a daily smack coming and going across the Hillsbough bridge, then I have not been keeping up my quota of smart ass remarks.

Those are just my thoughts on the whole thread. A few tid bits to chew on for now.

Enjoy!

Trips to Halifax

I find the trips to Halifax kinda like a game of chance. Ya never know what you'll come up with 'til after the game has been played. I had alot of misgivings about this trip before we left, but now that everything is all said and done I can happily report it almost all came up roses.

Friday night was a bust, when it came to being able to look up friends and hanging out. We scored better on Saturday night after work. We could not find anyplace to eat supper without waiting for 1-2 hours, so we just walked around the downtown until we arrived at the Casino.

I took the chance and played Craps for the first time in my life. It was a bit of a thrill and I find the odds of winning (and losing) somewhat better than when I play the slot machines.

As for winning anymore free stuff from Timmy's that seems to be a losing game all on it's own. Between us over those two days we must have bought 18 coffee and we had 0 wins. *shrug* It's a good thing the game does not run year round.

Now to look forward to my next trip and the next bit of fun.

Gotta jet, Enjoy!

Sunny Days and updates

*Laugh* I just refound this and thought I'd should post a bit more.

Had a great dinner last Saturday night. A seven course meal and lots of fun discussion. This weekend it looks like we'll be heading over to Halifax again. Sounds like another fun weekend.
Things are busy and hectic as ever. Yesterday I ended up working for up to six different people all at the same time. In some ways it was kind of amusing, hard on the head but amusing all the same. I also got some good news that I'll post about later.

Enjoy!

Patience is worth an investment in time.

Ok, so I've read a few BLOGs over time and even posted to them. It does take time and some patience in figuring out where/how/why to get things on this site formated to my liking. As it stands now after a morning's efforts, it's all starting to look good. Gotta like it when it all comes together.
