Is it Week or Weak in Review ???

*LOL* I thought the title was cute. This week's course was the third worst I have had in the 48 courses I've taught this past year. Name a problem that crops up on these courses and they all did this week. I even had supervisors call to clarify what was going on. This post would be a rant instead of a review if I hadn't of had such a nice, quiet and enjoyable weekend.

Needless to say, I'm glad this up coming one is just half a course load and is expected to be lower key. I expect that this week's challenge will be mostly from coaching the new instructor who returns to work.

We've reached everyone for the wedding party and mostly had success. Next month we have a couple important dates to go along with everything to get ready. I like the part where almost everything will be paid off before the big day even arrives.

Today I found a website that gives you a free IQ Test. I found it interesting and am waiting for some other people to take it before I post my results.

Enjoy!

Putting alota Store in it.

Well we headed out early this morning. Last Decembre the dog was hurt during a grooming by the new person we went to here in Halifax. I posted how mad we were at her and how much the experienced traumatized the dog. Well, we finally had the dog get a full grooming this morning. In no time at all, the store was calling us back and letting us know that the dog was done and he was no problem at all. I'm so used to seeing his mangey wild hair. This dog with short trimmed hair who I can't hear "click clacking" on the floor has to be someone else's pet.

Instead of waiting for the dog, we stopped into three different dress shops looking for dresses. We had lots of ideas ahead of time from the net. This made the whole looking and trying dresses on far easier and faster. I brought my book along to keep me busy when things got boring. Thankfully, that never happened becasue of our preparation. At the moment, out of five different dreses the choices have been narrowed down to two different style of dress.

That's how my weekend has been going.

As for the last little while. Got my budget figures submitted for this year. They said yes to everything so far. WOW! The normal routine has kicked in and I'm still enjoying the job. I had one students from last spring email me and thank me for her course. First thing I did was forward it to my boss for their notes when writing up my next evaluation. Next week the new guy returns to work so that'll be a little more fun added into things.

Enjoy!

Next seassion comes too early

During the long civic weekend on 7 Aug, we spent the day making wedding plans. Part of these plans included heading to the stores and getting prices for some needed supplies. I expected with two or three weeks to go that back to school supplies would be out in force, but to my dismay these same stores aleady had the shelves full of halloween already on display. I could not beleive it! Now consumers are expected to endure 10 weeks of halloween sales? How soon will the Christmas stuff be on sale at that rate? Please don't answer that.

So the wedding plans are going well. We know where we want it, what date(s) and how much our budget is. The rings are picked out, and what I am wearing is solved. All we need to do is nail down who will officiate and what the wedding dress will be. Once we know those answers, we can print and mail the invitations and get the program rolling on this for next year.
