New age....New Job....New Desire

I've found myself and it is always a fun discovery. This time, I am looking forward to a new job for another four months and my desire for total tittyally doninamtion (notice I left the titty alone...I found breasts). We get to enjoy a week in Cape Breton and then later this fall a vacation out west, that I have not been able to take for the last few years.

Things are coming around and as slowly as they started to go bad in the past, they are starting to get just as good these days. As the wheel turns, it spins.

Enjoy!

To Party as a virgin @ 32

Well I'm hanging out tonight at the mess and all I have is virgin drinks at the ripe old age of 32. It seems so weird and all, but the fun is enjoying the fun around me. I haven't posted for awhile, but felt a short one was in due order. Enjoy! I know I am!

Surfin' Sailor Cafe - Halifax

Ok,

So far I have been posting on weekends while I am home. I don't think that is too bad in itself since we are paying for the net access and all. I figure, to add a new element to the mix, I'd post some of "Kratz's Point of View" from this little perch. It's a tiddly little corner of Halifax and for $2 an hour with no lineup, it's worth a regular post every so often.

Canada Day weekend was my 1st weekend in 10 years that I was not on duty at work. I still completed some volunteer work, but I enjoyed the rest of my day. We had an early breakfast at a resturaunt, raised the big assed flags and then took a tour of Charlottetown. We hit the fair grounds and even dipped our hands held together as a souveniour. We even won a couple stuffed animals and a gift for someone. We hit three rides and after that we headed back for the BBQ and free food. I have not had a better Canada Day in years.

We spent that Saturday in front on the TV watching DVDs with the weather threatening showers most of the day. On Sunday, I delayed my return to Halifax so that we could finish playing the tourist weekend thingy. I have not been a tourist on PEI for 15 years, so do to it again was cool. We hit Cavendish and took in Green Gables, we saw the wax museum and we the poor show severly disappointed us to the point that we were not willing to check out Ripley's. We stopped by the Avonlee Village recreation and at $16.00 per person after the bad wax museum experience, we had no desire to pay that much. We checked out the boardwalk, enjoyed the famous "beaver tails" well known from Quebec onward. We shopped around and then headed back to town. Then I had to make my way back here.

I hope you summer is going as well. Thank you for all the comments and emails and hope you enjoy the read. Enjoy!
