Hands up! Hands up!

Computers do not even allow civilized society the dignity of a simple warning like hearing, "Hands Up!" Instead all we may expect is a dead or dying computer.

I know we use or computer at home here as a workhorse, but after the events of this week and a few weeks ago combined, we are spending more money on our home computer than on our car or our pet. This is extreamly wrong and I am already changing back to my old job in anticipation that I am out of work by this fall.
