Feel the Fire in the month of May

We have been burning a fire most weekends since moving in, but with the way the weather has been, we are even burning this weekend. I spent the afternoon looking up a new supplier for wood. The guy we used to purchase from has gone out of the firewood sales buisness. If we access to a truck, I found one place outside of the city that is giving firewood for free. We could haul away as many cords as we wanted. *shrug* Oh well, I'll firm something up on that later this week.

Tomrrow is the Battle of Atlantic ceremonies again. Commemorating the sacrafice of the ship's and lives lost during the Second World War. The ceromony starts just before 11am in most cities around Canada.

I spent some time roughing in our summer vacation plans. Looks like we will be heading back to Cape Breton for two weeks of hiking, camping, whale watching and horse back riding. Last time we were there is 2005, we drove through so fast, we didn't spend any proper amount of time enjoying any one spot. Now that we have been through, seen the places we liked and know where we do not want to revisit, I think this year will be more enjoyable.

Enjoy!
