We Remember

Today's Remeberance Day service was well attended by young and old. I'd estimate between 500-800 people at the local Legion's ceremonies. Of course the big event was in Halifax, but ours was closer to home and just as improtant to the local veterans.

It was great to see most of the people in attendance staying for a chat and some time to thank the veterans at this time of year. It is sad enough to hear the reminder that there are only five veterans remaining alive from WW I.

After your moment of silent rememberance, Thank a Veteran & Enjoy!
